Small but Mighty!

You have heard the adage that "good things come in small packages" and this exhibit is the epitome of that statement!

Pat Kuhns of Lincoln Nebraska is an EXPERT in miniature quilts. We are not exaggerating! Her quilts are fantastic and we have nearly of 50 of them on display in the museum. Each one is perfectly appointed on it's own miniature bed!!

The detail work is phenomenal! And the points...perfect! Her smallest piece...1/16th of an inch! Say what!?

Pat finds antique hankies and table runners and hand makes all of the chin guards, bed skirts, and pillows as well. Most of the miniature beds have been found in antique stores as well.

We are spoiled rotten to have this beautiful exhibit in the museum! No doubt about that!!
