Oh that Cat!

We are so LUCKY (although we call it blessed around here) to have quilt and fabric designer Cat Nix as one of our biggest museum cheerleaders!

Not only does she cheer us on, she is also a docent at the museum! An amazing lady that Cat. If you are one of the special ones, you will have great priveledge to receive a tour from her. Including of her very own exhibit!!

That's right, Cat Nix and her family quilts are on display on the 3rd floor. In this exhibit Cat showcases her own private designs as well as those of her family members. She curated this exhibit all on her own and it's a beauty!

One of my favorite parts of the exhibit is the details of each quilt and it's maker -including pictures of these women! FANTASTIC!!
