It is almost officially summer and we have a lineup for you!!


There is a lot to celebrate at the Missouri Quilt Museum this summer!


  • We have had visitors from all 50 states already this year and 7 countries! Welcome BACK!!

  • Karen Miller will be teaching Aurifilosophy to benefit you and the museum. It's all about the thread! Your machine will thank you. Check it out!

  • Elevator project is well underway. Acting in faith the project began construction and we are a mere $25,000 from completing it! We look forward to guests riding in the elevator later this summer!

  • Buses, buses and more buses... welcome to the museum!

  • Dennis Kuyper exhibit has arrived in the Show Me Gallery

  • New Exhibit from Jenny coming in July

  • A New National Quilt Museum exhibit coming in July also!

  • I am seeing RED---> Tammy Reid, Kansas City Chief's coaches wife is sharing her Red Green and White quilts with us. This is a not to miss exhibit beginning in August!! So exciting!

  • AND JANET YAMAMOTO IS BACK WITH ANOTHER RAFFLE QUILT! Get your tickets thru the mail. Call the museum to place your order, your tickets will be sent right away! 660-605-4068

This block was submitted to a quilting group on Facebook that I follow. (The black and white image for a different view).

None of us could recognize the symbol that this seems to be. And now we are all SO curious. Knowing what this symbol is would say a lot about the history of it and of its maker. Does anyone recognize this? Thank you for ANY information or ideas.
